Bush makes a run of the border.

With all the troubles in the White House (Iraq Operation, low approval ratings, Plame leak, wire tapping, the list goes on…) it seems as though President Bush is making a run for the border to control the media dialogue (as if he they didn’t talk enough already about non-news topics such as the Duke Rape Case and Natalie Holloway).

My question is if President Bush is so serious about securing America why didn’t he start talking about protecting our borders on September 12th, 2001? Why is he bringing it up after 6 years in the White House?
