Happy 2006

The New Year allows us to put all those pesky holidays behind us (and least for a while) and a start again refreshed with a clean slate. I predict 2006 is going to be a great year for Ebolaworld; mostly thanks to my new Power House Alienware and Wacom monitor.

Great things are planned for 2006, such as several new series (including the New Bush Show), 2nd Awards Show (you pick the winners again), a Weekly Update DVD with almost every episode, an interactive Fan Site (with profiles, forums, chat rooms, episode guides and more), and lastly the EbolaKart Racing Game (with scoreboard).

Here’s to a great new year (drinks shot of whiskey)!

Here's Snowy!

Well, this is the last Ebolaworld cartoon for 2005, and the last cartoon on my old computer. However, this is by no means the last of Snowy. I plan to run this series into the ground every year (just like a real horror movie series). Next year, I’m thinking about spoofing “Nightmare on Elm Street”, but I don’t know how long I can make the movie take place on the same night. Enjoy it!

Ebolaworld Hiatus

After the release of “Snowy the Frostman II”, Ebolaworld is going on a short hiatus. During this time I’ll be setting up my new Powerhouse Alienware computer, and won’t start making new cartoons again until everything is in place and working smoothly. I’ll keep you posted! The next cartoon scheduled is the “2005 in Review”.

Currently "Snowy II" has no official release date, but should be online within the next two weeks.

Ico for the PS2

It’s rare for me to finish a video game.

Usually games are extremely long causing me to lose interest, other times they become way too difficult causing me to surrender. However, Ico for the Playstation 2 is one of those few games that held my interest by maintaining fun game play from start to finish. It also helped that the game was a bit on the short side. If you haven’t played this game, and I doubt 95% of gamers have, you are missing a real gem. For a game made way back in 2001 the graphics are quite amazing (though they do tend to get a bit muddy at times). The game is light on action, but big on puzzle solving. The puzzles are never too hard or too simple, but always logical and most importantly fun.

It pisses me off that great games like this are overlooked every year while the top ten games at any time for any system include sequels to already popular games, movie tie ins, and sport titles. If people keep playing these same games over and over, innovative games like Ico will continue to be far and few in between.

Luckily, the makers of Ico hit it big in 2005 with Shadow of the Colossus; another great game that shares many similarities with Ico. There’s also talk of a Colossus sequel for the PS3 next year.

Anniversary Special 3

It’s been 3 great years of weekly updated (yeah right) cartoons and several critically acclaimed series that aren’t critically acclaimed by anyone. Join Taco-Man and Sam T in celebrating Ebolaworld and all our success (failures)!

Condi Vs Hillary

This cartoon was created for a job with instructions to make a cartoon about Hillary and Condi fighting over the presidency using the provided music.

I decided to spoof the old Mad Magazine black and white series “Spy vs Spy”.
