Speaking of Newgrounds...(Ahem)... Somehow the cartoon got 1st place on Saturday and the Clock Crew doesn't seem too pleased.

UPDATE! UPDATE!! Tom asked me (politely) to remove the Official Clock Day pre-loader as it's creator (CorpseGrinderClock) didn't want me using it. Aint that some shit? I certainly won't be participating again and will not even visit Newgrounds on that day.

The Awards were finally handed out and as expected my submission was ignored. So were some other really good submissions that were all about Clock Day. It just shows they only pick themselves as the winners. Be sure to check out this and this! Anyways, I am adding all this here to warn people so they won't waste their time submitting anything to this NG "holiday".

Also, CorpseGrinderClock insulted me more with this post in the Awards comments:

It was unfunny, poorly animated, and had an annoying unfunny shape movie slapped right in the middle. All it talked about was stuff that was old news anyway, and the author spent the rest of the day gloating about getting daily feature.

Oh yeah. I gloated sooo much. I was just as shocked as him. But wow, does he seem bitter or what? I'm glad I didnt win and I won't be supporting Clock Day ever again. In fact, I will warn non-clock artist against submitting stuff next year. :)

I'm not really very disappointed in us not getting the top 10 for status or for the prizes, but rather because it was EbolaWorld, an average newgrounds-pleasing artist, that won out. The average Newgrounds attitude won three times over on the Clock Crew, on their day celebrating the anniversary of something like B. It's like we lost, if you know what I mean. Shameful.

agree, he whored out the only day where Clocks can go appreciated on Newgrounds to get a daily first, even though he would have gotten a daily anyway. Dick.

Now I am a dick for submitting a Clock Movie on Clock Day. XD

The only thing that bothers me about EbolaWorld winning is that A.) The movie kinda' sucked, and B.) It really didn't have much of anything to do with Clocks. I don't mind if a non-Clock wins if it's a good, solid ClockDay movie. I pretty much felt like he was dissing ClockDay the whole time anyways.

This is from the guy who is now ahead of me in score. For someone that makes Clock Movies, he sure doesn't have much of a sense of humor.

And by the way, Clock Day is something for us, not for your average Newgrounder who doesn't know what the Clock Crew is anyway.

It is for all members of Newgrounds! Show me a rule that says otherwise. That's what I thought.

I think we've shown and solidified to ourselves if not to the newgrounders that we well and truly are the best group of people on the internet
